Registration Supervision Department

The following Designated Non-Financial Business or Professions (DNFBPs), are required to register with the Supervision Department of the FIU. 

  • Real Estate Agents and Project Developers.
  • Traders in building materials.
  • Dealers in precious metals, precious stones, jewels and jewelries.
  • Traders in vehicles and vessels.
  • Lawyers and other Legal service providers.
  • Accountants.
  • Administrative offices
  • Notaries
  • Tax advisors

Registration Analysis Department

All entities and professionals covered by the NORUT  are legally obligated to report unusual transactions to FIU Curaçao. This includes, but is not limited to:

  • Financial Institutions, such as banks, insurance companies, money transfer services, and  investment firms.
  • Designated Non-Financial Businesses or Professions (DNFBPs), including casinos, lawyers, notaries, accountants, real estate agents, and trust and company service providers.

The financial institutions and DNFBP’s are overseen by the three supervisory authorities in Curaçao:

  • Central Bank of Curaçao and Sint Maarten (CBCS)
  • Curaçao Gaming Authority (CGA)
  • Financial Intelligence Unit Curaçao (FIU)

 

How to Register with FIU Analysis

Unusual transaction reports must be submitted through the new goAML portal. To use this system, reporting entities are required to register in goAML before submitting any reports.

  1. Start the Registration Process
    Send an email to goaml@fiucuracao.cw to begin your registration.
